Windows 10 is installed with the Administrator account disabled by default. Users can enable it when setting up profile accounts on the OS. When shifting from the April 2018 Update to Windows 10 October 2018 Update, the platform is automatically restoring Admin accounts to deactivated. This happens even if the users have enabled administrator privileges. It is unclear whether this is a bug or Windows is treated as a new OS through each update and reverts back to default disabled Admin accounts....

It now seems the Windows 10 SSD issues aren’t as concentrated as previously thought. A number of Toshiba devices are also affected, with different results. According to a Microsoft spokesperson, Toshiba XG4, XG5 and BG3 series SSD experience significantly worse battery life. “Microsoft is working with OEM partners and Toshiba to identify and block devices with Toshiba XG5 Series or Toshiba BG3 Series solid state disk (SSD) from installing the April 2018 Update due to a known incompatibility that may cause battery performance issues,” says a forum post....

The Cortana page mentioned a product called Microsoft To-Do. Last May, Apple’s AI assistant had 48.7 million monthly users but has declined amid competition from other brands. The time each user spends using Siri is now at 14 minutes, dropping from 39, while engagement has dropped from 21 to 11. Verto Analytics puts S-Voice in second place, with Samsung’s voice assistant also scoring a decline. Currently, S-Voice has 23.2 million monthly users, dropping from last year’s 24.8 million.
