As usual, Android users will get the features eventually, but iOS is first up. This release brings OneDrive up to build 10.33.5 with a bunch of features. It is also worth noting Microsoft has launched version 10.33.6, which is specifically to fix bugs in the apps. This OneDrive update focuses on a new feature called On This Day. Instead, Microsoft has focused Xbox One version 1902 on fixing known bugs and making general improvements. Also known as build 10.0.17763.4085, the release features plenty of fixes, some for the console and some for games. For example, Microsoft has solved some reliability issues with Cortana and bumped performance of the My Games & Apps screen. The company is tracking the flaws as CVE-2022-41040 and CVE-2022-41082, respectively. Microsoft describes the first as a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) bug, while the second could allow threat actors to conduct a remote code execution (RCE) attack through PowerShell. However, an attack would require the malicious actor to have authenticated access to Microsoft Exchange Server. Furthermore, Microsoft says Exchange Server users do not need to do anything as the vulnerabilities are only for on-premises versions of Exchange Server 2013, 2016, and 2019....

Unfortunately, it’s a design many took issue with, not least due to a number of missing features. Windows Terminal 1.0 arrives a year after the application was first announced. The app is a new command prompt experience for Windows 10. Developers can leverage multiple tabs and customize the experience with themes. On that latter front, you’ll need to edit a JSON file to access the full suite of customization tools. Albacore reports the physical predictive typing tool will be baked into the new Windows 10 upgrade scheduled for release in May 2020. Windows 10 currently shows physical keyboard text suggestions in three suggestions above the typed word. The new system will generate suggestions on the move as a sentence is being typed. Now, MSPowerUser has reported that according to its sources, Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition will be one of the first titles released for Scorpio. MSPU claims that Microsoft will bring Mojang’s hit sandbox game to the Xbox One by utilizing the Universal Windows Platform. In addition, MSPU has provided a screenshot, claiming to have tried the game on Xbox One S. According to the report, the game will still have the same name (Minecraft: Xbox One Edition), but other than that it will be different....

For users running Office Lens on iPhone and iPad, Microsoft has bumped the service to version 2.16. Over on Android, the update brings the app to version 16.0. In terms of Office Lens, OneNote on Android is now fully integrated with the document editing tool. Office Lens gives users tools to trim, enhance and make images of whiteboards and docs. The service then saves the content into Microsoft’s OneNote app. Images can be converted to PDF, PowerPoint, and Word files. With integration with OneNote, users will be able to perform Office Lens tasks in the note-taking app. Microsoft initially brought this feature to the service in November, but it was limited to preview....

A short video posted to social media outlets shows what appears to be pure black glass on the back, before the view shifts to reveal three lenses. Aside from visuals, it’s unclear what advantage the tech would have on rear cameras. The more noticeable change may be that it fits flush with the body, rather than having a camera bump.
