In the latest addition to the Chromium base, Microsoft is adding a tool that allows integration of a volume mixer. Spotted by WindowsLatest, the tool will allow Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome to highlight the names of audio tabs open in the Windows 10 volume mixer. If you are unfamiliar with the volume mixer, it can be accessed through a right click of the volume icon on the Windows 10 taskbar....

This would allow Chromium browsers like Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome to have an improved clipboard experience. Users will be able to more efficiently copy and paste. More importantly, they will also be able to copy and paste more extensive and complicated file types across web browser and applications. WebView2 was initially launched in preview at Build 2020 earlier this year. Looking at the new additions, first up is the color palette getting more customization tools. There is now a “more colors” option that allows users to slide across to select the color they want. According to a report from the Varonis Forensics Team, the Hive ransomware is being used in new attacks against Microsoft Exchange Server. It you are unfamiliar with Hive, it is a ransomware-as-a-service. Microsoft has been patching Exchange Servers for over a year to protect against ransomware attacks. That means many organizations are protected, but others did not install the fix. Those remaining vulnerabilities are the target of Hive, which is using ProxyShell flaws to access SYSTEM privileges....

Starting with AI for Earth, Microsoft has announced a significant expansion of the program that launch earlier this year. Microsoft explains the setting for the tool was turned off in an effort to reduce disk space used by Windows 10. However, there are other ways to reduce disk space considering automatic registry backups hardly take much space.
