Focus Sessions are built into the Windows 11 Alarms and Clock application. Panos explains the tool allow users to focus on productivity and get work done without any distractions. By setting a task and how much time to dedicate to it, the Focus Session is set up. It will put your work front and center and set an alarm according to your schedule. Think of this as adding some elements of notifications and Microsoft To-Do into a new feature. In fact, I do not know why this is coming to the Clocks app and not To Do. Either way, one cool ability of Focus Sessions is users can set up their Spotify playlist directly within the Clocks app. We will have to wait until the feature arrives in preview to see its full capabilities.

Snipping Tool

As we reported yesterday, Panay has also been teasing the new Snipping Tool this week. Taking to his Twitter account, an enthusiastic Panay provides a “first look” at the tool. He also said it should be coming to Windows 11 preview builds on the Insider soon. It seems many of the Snip & Sketch features will make their way to Windows 11, although the service will once again be known as the Snipping Tool. Windows 11 is currently in preview and will be launching during this fall. Tip of the day: If you need to create an ad-hoc network, you can do it on Windows 10. In our tutorial we show you how to easily create a shareable wireless internet connection in Windows 10 as a free WIFI hotspot.
